Overview
I built this RetroPie console to relive classic handheld gaming experiences from my childhood. The project involved setting up a Raspberry Pi 4 with RetroPie, a popular emulation platform that transforms the Pi into a retro gaming console. I configured the system to specifically support Game Boy Advance (GBA) and Game Boy Color (GBC) emulation, allowing me to play ROMs from these classic Nintendo handheld consoles. The setup process included installing RetroPie on the Raspberry Pi, configuring emulators for GBA and GBC systems, organizing my ROM library, and optimizing the system for smooth gameplay performance.
